This week I just started reading
The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins. It begins with a reference to
Robinson Crusoe in which Robinson states, "Now I saw, though too late, the Folly of beginning a Work before we count the Cost, and before we judge rightly of our own Strength to go through with it." As I read this story's beginning, I thought about my resolve to write more and to take on this
Writing Magic project. What have I got myself into? At this point I surely don't know, but if this project doesn't turn out like I hope, it will not be for lack of trying.
